The types of professional personnel that perform these services are:
 

SKILLED NURSING
Registered Nurses can provide a wide
range of care and services. These include
administration of medications, dressing
changes, assessment and teaching to both
patient and family.

 
PHYSICAL THERAPY
Physical Therapists evaluate the patient's
needs and provide exercises and treatments
to relieve pain and restore use of muscles
and limbs.

 
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational Therapists provide
therapeutic training to help increase
the patient's ability to function
independently in performing daily living
activities

 
SPEECH THERAPY
Certified Speech Pathologists evaluate the
patient's speech disorders. Individualized
training is provided to enable the patient
to relearn basic communication skills

 
SOCIAL SERVICES
Qualified Medical Social Workers may be
part of your Physician's plan to help the
team understand the social and emotional
issues or personal difficulties related to
your health and recovery.

 
HOME HEALTH AIDE
Home Health Aides provide needed care
for patients under supervision of a
skilled nurse. This may include bathing,
personal care, meal preparation and other
specifically ordered care.

 
In addition to the above, we can help you with:
Obtaining durable medical equipment (wheelchairs, hospital beds, etc.) as ordered by your physician
 
Arranging for Respiratory Therapy consultations
 
Obtaining a physician
 
Arranging for dietary consultation
 
Locating a community resource such as meals on wheels, adult day care, indigent program for medications, 24 hour (or as needed) private duty nursing, etc.
